Randy Hope Steen, Esquire
Randy Hope Steen has been practicing Trust, Estate, Special Needs, Business and Tax Law for over two decades. She has vast experience in private practice in complex estate and tax planning issues, and has served as a corporate trustee for PNC Advisors, as well as In-House Legal Counsel for AXA-Advisors, one of the largest insurance companies in the world. Mrs. Steen is well versed in all aspects of estate planning, special needs planning, business succession planning, charitable planning, retirement planning issues, insurance strategies, and litigation before the Internal Revenue Service.
Mrs. Steen is a certified Mediator, and has served in that capacity for the Court of Common Pleas in Philadelphia. She is also licensed to practice in United States Tax Court, the Eastern District of Pennsylvania in Federal Court, and is licensed to practice before the Veterans Administration.
Mrs. Steen has trained many insurance professionals and financial advisors on all aspects of tax law including Roth IRA conversions, Special Needs Trust Planning, Business Succession Planning, Retirement Planning, Assets Protection Planning, and Insurance and Annuity Strategies. Mrs. Steen is also a frequent lecturer in the Special Needs Community assisting parents and caregivers to make sure their estate planning for their disabled loved one is taken care of properly to insure the best quality of life possible.
Mrs. Steen has served on the Board of the Jewish Federations Exploratory Council for Autism, she was the Vice President of the Brandywine Valley YMCA in Coatesville, Pennsylvania, and the Recruitment Chair on the Board of Directors for the Timothy School in Berwyn, Pennsylvania. Mrs. Steen is serving in on a Legal Advisory Committee to the PLAN of Pennsylvania in a Pro Bono capacity regarding special needs trust issues and planning. She lectures at Cabrini College on all aspects of Estate, Financial and Business Planning for their Faculty and Staff.
Mrs. Steen is the proud parent of a beautiful daughter with rare special needs who is the absolute joy of her life!
Julianne Pizzi, Estate Paralegal
Julie has worked as a paralegal and an administrative legal assistant for over twenty years. Julie graduated from Bloomsburg University with her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology. She began her career in the area of mortgage foreclosure, creditor's rights, real estate and bankruptcy law at Goldbeck, McCafferty & McKeever, P.C., located in Philadelphia. She then was able to utilize her expertise in this area at The Office of Christine Dehney, Esquire where she handled document drafting, courthouse filings and all aspects of client relations. Julie then joined the office of Martha E. Von Rosenstiel, P.C. where she expanded her experience to include case management, office management and training of other legal assistants. After the birth of her children, Julie developed a personal interest in Special Needs Planning, Trust and Estate Planning. She has worked hand in hand with attorneys to accomplish the client's goals with respect to all aspects of their estate planning needs.
Through this common interest, Julie met Mrs. Steen and joined the firm in December 2010. Here she assists with the drafting of Estate Planning and Estate Administration Documents. She also creates and coordinates marketing directives and coordinates outreach seminars to families with special needs children. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband and her very active twin boys.
Eileen Lake, Records Manager
Eileen has worked as a Bond and Insurance Underwriter for twenty-five years in the area of Estate Administration Law. She began her career at Fidelity & Deposit Company of Maryland, where she worked exclusively in the Judicial Department handling court appeal cases. After raising her own family, Eileen decided to dedicate her time to other children and families and began a fourteen year teaching career at her local YMCA in their pre-school program. Mrs. Steen met Eileen through her own advocacy work at the YMCA and knew she would be a perfect fit for our firm. In December of 2012, Eileen joined our Team and handles all of the day-to-day record keeping and organization of our office! In her spare time, Eileen enjoys spending time with her friends, three grown children and her beautiful grandchildren.
